In the Han dynasty, Emperor Wu expanded the frontiers; Tang Meng obtained “jujiang” from southern Sichuan and presented it to the imperial court — the first entry of Guizhou brews into history. In the Tang dynasty, spring wines of Guizhou were sent as tribute to Chang’an. Thus the Han initiated the source, the Tang expanded its charm, culminating today in Hantang Huai Jiu. This is the origin of its name.
Its craftsmanship follows the laws of heaven and earth. Qu is made during the Dragon Boat Festival; sorghum is added during the Double Ninth Festival. Nine times of steaming, eight rounds of fermentation, seven extractions of liquor, three years of sealed aging — inheriting the secret teachings of master distillers, continuing the true lineage of national liquor.
Behold its form: twin bottles competing in elegance. The pure white one, bright as frost, carries the austerity of the Han; the vermilion one bears the grandeur of the Zhenguan era. Vessels embody the Way; form and spirit unite, heart and mind return home.
At grand gatherings, once a bottle is opened, spring arises around the table. Hantang Huai Jiu embraces the beauty of heaven and earth, the sincerity of craftsmen, the character of Han and Tang, and deep love for one’s homeland. A thousand years of culture melt into a single cup.
The bone of Han and the grace of Tang — one continuous fragrance,
The sauce rhyme of Moutai enters the wine pot and cup.
Artisan spirit alone accompanies the aged brew,
Flavor fills heaven and earth; time flows long.
